Since today the Doodle3D WiFi Box is raising funds on Kickstarter! Please support our project. Our Doodle3D WiFi Box is a small device (about 2 inches) which connects your 3D printer wirelessly to your laptop, computer, tablet or smart-phone. The Doodle3D software runs on the device. Just connect to it through your browser. Make a 2D sketch, convert it to 3D through the user-friendly interface and simply press Print. Your 3D printer will immediately start printing your Doodle3D design.

From November 29th till the 27th of December Doodle3D will be displayed in the 3DEA store in New York City. 3DEA is a pop-up store on 6th avenue that completely focusses on the upcomming 3D printing technique.

This month, New-Yorkers will get the opportunity to experience ‘a store of the future’, where they can customise, invent and imitate their designs. Visitors can easily get started with 3D printing by creating their own design with one of the 6 Doodle3d cotrolled Ultimakers. They can take their doodle home or decorate the 3DEA Christmas tree.

There will be many interesting lectures and workshops and other activities by other renowned companies and projects in the 3D printing world.

Doodle3D at KamerMaker launch

During an OpenCoop event in the Tolhuistuin on Sunday 16 September, DUS Architects officially opened and celebrated the world’s largest moveable 3D printing pavilion the KamerMaker (Room Builder).

Lots of enthusiastic children easily drew something on an iPad, and got their new printed object in ten minutes.

Tonight Doodle3D will been introduced for the first time to the Ultimaker community in the Netherlands. We hope to get some good feedback on our design and print quality. Without Ultimaker, there wouldn’t have been Doodle3D. Thanks people!
